GoldenRace to supply virtual sports product to Betsson Greece via new partnership

GoldenRace has joined forces with Betsson Group, with the former supplying the operator and its customers in Greece with its virtual sports offering.

The new partnership makes the Swedish international gambling group the exclusive virtual sports provider for the Greek market, while at the same time further bolstering its activity in the recently regulated sector.

Courtesy of the license it received in June 2021 from the Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC) for both retail and online operations in the southeastern European country, GoldenRace will provide Betsson with its acclaimed virtual sports and games product offering by way of an aggregator platform.

Greek Market:

In a statement via company news, Martin Wachter, GoldenRace Chief Executive Officer and Founder said the Greek gambling market is “growing fast” and offers “exciting opportunities.”

The CEO added…

“We knew that when we first started operations in the country, and it is amazing to join forces with Betsson, to keep offering Greek players our leading virtuals.”

The deal which marks an expansion of the B2B betting software and solutions supplier’s presence in the Greek market follows a similar partnership agreement inked in April with Spanish online betting and casino platform Paston.es. And like Betsson, it was the first time the Spanish operator incorporated this particular betting vertical into its already extensive gaming offer.

Meanwhile, the deal for Betsson also sees it expand its offering in the Greek market after in May last year being granted licenses for online gaming and betting by the HGC, for the launch of its flagship brand of the same name.

Product Portfolio Addition:

Also commenting on the new alliance, Thanos Marinos, Managing Director for Betsson Greece, said…

“At Betsson, we are always listening to our customers’ needs and wants and we constantly strive to provide the very best entertainment to our clients. Bringing in new and fresh content is a big part of what we do, and I would like to welcome GoldenRace to our product portfolio, which I am sure our customers will find as a great addition to our existing offering.”

New Virtual Sports Game:

The collaboration also follows the launch of GoldenRace’s latest 3D sports game Grand Prix Indianapolis 60, which is based on the prestigious car races held in the state capital of the Midwestern U.S. state of Indiana, and specially designed for mobile gameplay in a mixed video and animation format.

Complete with exceptional visuals, sound FX, professional voice-overs and advanced camerawork to capture the atmosphere of the real life event, players bet on a starting line-up of twelve cars, comprised of six, three-driver teams. Two start each race.

As the game unfolds, players are able to track their bets and winnings in real time, a feature that only previously existed in the developer’s virtual football product.

Highlights of the new game include meticulously calculated game statistics, real-life track data, a new hybrid maths model and displaying player’s bets and potential outcomes on screen, and CTAs like a pre-race countdown, all combining to make a lifelike and immersive game experience for players.

The exhilarating release, sees GoldenRace’s virtual games grow more popular, and faster; a good indicator that the Malta-based firm will be entering the hot U.S. betting market sometime soon.
